Yes, it’s true we even give Rum its own day. National Rum Day is on August 16, and those who want to celebrate can start with my favorite a Mojito. But we can’t leave out the daiquiris, or a piña coladas lovers.

Where do we start

• For those who enjoy a kick and are looking to catch the last wave of summer, try the Spicy Mango Daiquiri, a perfect blend of tropical fruits, rum, and fiery bitters.

• The Manhattan 2 oz dark rum, ¾ oz Rosso vermouth, Angostura Bitters, Maraschino cherry garnish, Method: Stir all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and pour over ice in a coupe glass.
