The lobby also features a Polynesian-style Christmas tree decorated with leis and tropical flowers. Merry & Bright on the Bay
For families, the Jingle Belle Family Cruises aboard the William D. Evans sternwheeler on Mission Bay are a beloved San Diego tradition. Guests can enjoy a welcome hot cider, complimentary candy bags, face painting, festive crafts, and live carolers. Children have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and take home professional photos, while adults can enjoy seasonal drinks at the cash bar. A portion of ticket proceeds benefits Mama’s Kitchen. The festive spirit continues with the Mission Bay Parade of Lights, returning on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 5:30 PM. Dozens of boats decorated in holiday lights sail across the bay, often preceded by fireworks.
